As a student nurse I have worn many different styles and brands of N95 respirators. None of them have the effect that this one has in making me rebreathe so much of my own carbon dioxide. After 3 hours of wearing this I start feeling so fatigued and like I am about to pass out. But then if I take a couple breaths of air without it on I start to feel my head clear. I hate feeling like I am going to pass out wearing this.
I bought mine on Amazon for $23 for 20 masks and bought myself 4 boxes (80 masks). Have been using them for a week. Tight seal, blood test I took even showed decreased oxygen levels (the day I took labs), and it was easy to put on. I had a certificate in each box showing this was the real product, as well as the CDC website, and the product information on the masks themselves. I store mask of the day in a ziplock bag when eating or when it’s not in use, making sure to take a mask break every couple of hours or so for oxygen.
These are the best n95s. Secure fit. Confirmed authentic through CDC website. I’m going to stock up!!!
This nonprofit website offers many approved, reviewed N95 masks, including this one:
https://shop.projectn95.org/byd-n95-respirators-de2322-20-count/p
Price listed as of 12/29/21 was 20 masks for $35
I want to add that I located this specific N95 to validate it's approval with NIOSH as there are a lot of fakes out there. They are on the list of approved manufacturers and this specific TC number was listed. You can go to cdc.gov/NIOSH. TC # is 84A-9221. There will be a link there that you can look alphabetically. I feel even more better about this purchase.
